In Indian art, the peacock symbolizes regality and majesty. The peacock represents Jesus in many ancient Christian arts and regality in Eastern traditions.  However, I painted the peacock green for evil and surrounded it with gold glitter and gave it gold sequins for eyes to represent the love of money.  This peacock represents the anti-Christ, beautiful like God but a sham, only interested in worldly pursuits.
